Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable monomer composition for forming an electroconductive polymer having excellent polymerizability even on a valve action metal having a porous and complicate shape, and giving an electroconductive high molecular polymer exhibiting high electroconductivity and high durability; and a method for producing a solid electrolytic capacitor having high capacitance, low dielectric loss, and in particular, exhibiting low ESR, by using such the polymerizable monomer composition.SOLUTION: This method for producing a solid electrolytic capacitor comprises producing a polymer using, as a polymerizable monomer composition, a mixed composition containing alkylenedioxythiophene compound represented by propylenedioxythiophene in a thiophene derivative monomer, and forming the polymer on a valve action metal as a solid electrolyte layer.
