Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the oblique feed of paper sheets.SOLUTION: In a cassette 15, a plurality of paper sheets P are stacked, and inserted in and pulled out from a body by a slide in the predetermined slide direction. The cassette 15 includes a paper feed roller 17 for conveying the paper sheets P in the advancing direction orthogonal to the slide direction, and guide pairs 50 for advancing the paper sheets P in the advancing direction by holding the paper sheets P from the slide direction. A body includes resist roller pairs 19 for conveying the paper sheets P conveyed by the paper feed roller 17, and guide pairs 56 for advancing the paper sheets P in the advancing direction by holding the paper sheets P from the slide direction at the upstream side of the advancing direction of the paper sheets P from the resist roller pairs 19.
