AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of achieving air conditioning giving priority to a driver seat side by stopping air conditioning at a passenger side only by adding a sub-damper in an existing unit.SOLUTION: In the air conditioner 1 for the vehicle of a right and left independent temperature control system in which the flow path of a downstream side of an evaporator 8 of an air flow path 4 formed in the air conditioner unit 2 is divided into at least two of right and left by a partition plate 9, and in which an air mix damper 13B independently driven in each flow path 4B is provided, the sub-damper 17 which opens and closes the passenger side heat flow path 11B at the following flow side of the heater core 10 of the passenger side heat flow path 11B is provided. The sub-damper 17 is closed and the passenger side air mix damper 13B is set to a maximum heating position, and thereby, the blow of air conditioning wind from the passenger side blow flow path is blocked.
