Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven (10) for heat treatment of materials or components, in particular of ceramic components, especially dental ceramic components, while improving cycle time without degrading quality of a finished dental prosthesis material.SOLUTION: The microwave oven is equipped with a susceptor (14) which is positioned in the radiation path between a source of microwaves and the component. The susceptor (14) is made of highly pure silicon carbide of hexagonal, rhombohedral or cubic crystal structure, which has in particular a 2H, 4H, 6H or 3C crystal structure.
