DRUM-TYPE WASHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washer capable of preventing the smudge of clothes by improving the washing performance.SOLUTION: A drum-type washer comprises: a water tank 52; a rotation drum 53; a motor 54; a water feeding valve 85 for feeding water into the water tank 52; operation display means 74 composed of input setting means 83 and display means 84; an exhaust port 71 disposed at the inner bottom of the water tank 52; a water exhaust valve 59 communicating with the exhaust port 71; cloth amount detection means 91 for detecting an amount of clothes; and controlling means 88 which sequentially controls a smudge prevention course as well as a series of processes of washing, rinsing, dehydrating and drying by controlling e.g. the water feeding valve 85 and the motor 54. If the smudge prevention course is selected by the input setting means 83, the cloth amount detection means 91 detects a cloth amount and then the controlling means displays a water level corresponding to the cloth amount and a detergent amount nearly twice as much as the normal detergent amount corresponding to the water level using the display means 84, so that the washing performance can be improved with a high concentration of detergent and the smudge of clothes can be prevented.
