PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device 1 capable of easily recognizing a message for reporting the reception of communication information.SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device 1 includes: a first display unit 13 to which a scene at the back is set to a perspective see-through state; a second display unit 25 capable of being laid out at the back of the first display unit 13; a display control unit 23b1 for controlling the first display unit 13 and the second display unit 25; a receiving unit 30 for receiving the communication information; and a communication information processing unit 23b2 for generating the message to report the reception of the communication information by the receiving unit. The display control unit 23b1 displays the message generated by the communication information processing unit 23b2 to the first display unit 13, and sets a display area other than the message in the first display unit 13 to the see-through state.
