PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and reliability of an alarm device for a user by providing the alarm device capable of preventing an issuance of a false alarm caused by entry or the like of a foreign matter, and easily, accurately, and rapidly determining whether an alarm is real or false when the alarm device issues the alarm.SOLUTION: This alarm device includes a smoke detection part 1 for detecting a smoke density, an alarm issuance part 2 for issuing an alarm to the user, and a control part 3 for controlling the alarm issuance part 2 to issue an alarm according to the detection result of the smoke detection part 1. The control part 3 can execute alarm issuance suspension processing for temporarily suspending alarm issuance by the alarm issuance part 2 through an operation of the user. When the smoke density detected by the smoke detection part 1 is equal to or higher than a smoke density of a criterion to determine a fire after executing the alarm issuance suspension processing at least once, the control part makes the alarm issuance part 2 output information for prompting cleaning of the smoke detection part 1.
