Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad return mechanism of a disc brake capable of isolating a pad from a rotor in parallel thereto after canceling braking, and reducing such a problem as dragging or juddering and brake noise.SOLUTION: The pad return mechanism includes a return spring 70 assembled in assembling holes 58, 68 radially formed at pressure plates 52, 62 constituting the pads 50, 60 of the disc brake. Tips of the assembling holes 58, 68 are formed in radial pad supporting regions of the pressure plates 52, 62, and tips 78a, 78b of assembled portions 76a, 76b of the return spring 70 are disposed in the pad supporting regions. The tips 78a, 78b are made to serve as contact points with the pressure plates 52, 62.
