POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition and a molded article of the composition excellent in weather resistance, transparency, hue, heat resistance, thermal stability, mechanical strength and the like.SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition contains a polycarbonate resin having at least a structural unit derived from a hydroxyl compound having a site expressed by formula (1) in the structure, and a UV absorbent. The composition contains the UV absorbent in an amount of 0.05 part by weight or more and 5 parts by weight or less relative to 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin, and at least one kind of metal selected from a group consisting of lithium and the group 2 metals in the long-form periodic table. The amount of the metal included as a catalyst is at most 20 ppm by weight in total with respect to the whole polycarbonate resin composition. (The composition excludes such a case that a site expressed by formula (1) constitutes -CH-O-H).
