Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering system that achieves an improvement in durability of a worm and a worm wheel even if having a structure in which a worm shaft with the worm is pressed by using a biasing means so as to reduce the distance between the rotation centers of the worm and the worm wheel.SOLUTION: The electric power steering system includes: an elastic body 11b that is arranged so as to be in contact with the inner periphery of an inner ring 6a of a rolling bearing 6 on the side of a motor 1 and is expandable in the axial-length direction by force in the axial-length direction applied to a worm 3; and circular rings 11a, 11c that are held by the worm or the inner ring so as to be in contact with both ends of the inner ring and restrict the radial movement of the worm.
