Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer that facilitates hand cut along perforations without using the paper which is cut in the paper end beforehand at the perforations or the paper with a small area of an un-cut part without causing enlargement and increase of cost of the label printer.SOLUTION: The label printer which performs printing to the paper in which a plurality of labels are arranged on the backing paper and perforations are formed between labels, respectively, includes: a cutter part which cuts the paper after printing; a cutter drive unit which drives the cutter part; and a control unit which controls the driving amount given to the cutter part by the cutter drive unit. The control unit controls the driving amount so that cut which reaches the perforation from the paper end near the perforation is formed for each perforation to the paper after printing.
