PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard having a macro function, a method for setting the macro function related thereto and a computer program product therefor.SOLUTION: In the method for setting the macro function to be applied to the keyboard having the macro function, the keyboard includes at least one key switch and a set of key macros. The set of key macros respectively corresponds to a plurality of prescribed macro definition data. The method includes: a step for detecting the depression of the key switch and a first key macro among the set of key macros; a step for calculating the count of the depressed first key macro while the depression of the key switch is retained; and a step for making the first key macro correspond to second macro definition data based on the calculated count of the depressed first key macro when the depression of the key switch is removed, and for modifying the macro index of the first key macro.
