PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a countermeasure system for loss of a portable information terminal capable of easily grasping a location of a lost terminal.SOLUTION: A countermeasure system for loss of a portable information terminal comprises: a management terminal for transmitting an initial countermeasure instruction including a battery consumption suppressing operation and a complete deletion instruction for completely deleting data; a lost terminal for performing the initial countermeasure by receiving the initial countermeasure instruction from the management terminal and completely deleting data by receiving the complete deletion instruction; and a search terminal for performing a voice alarm instruction on the lost terminal when entering a location within a predetermined distance from the lost terminal.
