TAPE REEL AND INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure prevention of deformation of a flange caused by tight-drawing of a wound magnetic tape.SOLUTION: This tape reel is configured by connecting a first flange 21, a cylindrical body 22 and a second flange 23, which are separate parts. The first flange 21 includes connecting pins 32 erected so as to be located at an inner side of an outer circumferential wall 41 of the cylindrical body 22. The cylindrical body 22 includes bosses 42 in which insertion holes 42a through which to insert a connecting pin 32 are formed, and inner walls 43 provided inside an inner surface of the outer circumferential wall 41. The second flange 23 includes protrusions 52 which are formed at an opening edge 51a of an opening 51 so as to protrude toward the center of the opening 51 formed at a center part and have an insertion hole 52a through which a connecting pin 32 is inserted. A plurality of positioning pins 33 are formed in the first flange 21, for positioning the cylindrical body 22 by being contact with a surface of the outer circumferential wall 41 side in the inner walls 43 such that the cylindrical body 22 is in contact with the cylindrical body 22.
