Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner composition, in particular, a MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) toner composition containing magnetic particles by an emulsion/aggregation toner process.SOLUTION: The toner composition comprises an emulsion aggregation toner including at least one resin in combination with one or more optional ingredients selected from the group consisting of colorants, waxes and combinations thereof, and at least one type of ferromagnetic nanoparticles. The ferromagnetic nanoparticles are spherical and have a circularity of 0.65 to 1, and the ferromagnetic particles have a diameter of 1 nm to 1,000 nm. A process for preparing the toner including ferromagnetic nanoparticles is also provided.
