PRESSURE PROTECTING DEVICE FOR REFRIGERATION AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily confirm operation of a pressure protecting device of a refrigeration air-conditioning cycle, which has been difficult depending on an installation state, and to facilitate maintenance management of the pressure protecting device.SOLUTION: The pressure protecting device includes a valve element 9 of a relief valve which is configured to release an airtight state and to discharge a refrigerant to atmosphere from an exhaust port 2 through a through-hole 3 when a difference between a pressure of the refrigerant of the refrigeration air-conditioning cycle and a pressure of the atmosphere exceeds a predetermined pressure, and a colorant 11 which is arranged inside the through-hole and between the valve element 9 of the relief valve and the exhaust port 2. If the valve element of the relief valve operates when the pressure of the refrigerant exceeds a predetermined value due to a failure of refrigeration cycle equipment, such as a stop of an outdoor air blower, the colorant is discharged together with the refrigerant. The user visually confirms the colorant discharged to the outside of the refrigeration air-conditioning cycle, to easily confirm the operation of the valve element of the relief valve of the pressure protecting device, thereby facilitating maintenance management.
