Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the opportunity of a hose to be caught on things in the work environment.SOLUTION: A supplied air respirator 10 includes: (a) a clean air supply source 16 that is designed to be carried by a user of the supplied air respirator 10; (b) a face piece 18 that is sized to fit at least over the user's nose and mouth; (c) the adjustable length hose 12 that consists of a flexible member adjustable in length, extends from the supply source 16 to the face piece 18 to supply purified air to the user, and has a first portion having a predetermined compressed length and a second portion having an uncompressed length; (d) a first sleeve 14 that covers the first portion of the hose 12 and holds the first portion so that the first portion has the first compressed length; and (e) a second sleeve that covers the second portion of the hose 12. The whole length of the hose 12 is covered by the first sleeve 14 and the second sleeve.
