PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and method capable of reproducing a program content related to a specific article item constituting a web content, from a position where the article item is mentioned to.SOLUTION: The information processing device is provided with: web content acquisition means for acquiring the web content from a web server; first keyword extraction means for extracting a predetermined character string included in an item constituting the web content, as a first keyword; determination means which compares a character string expressing the content of a program content stored in a storage device with the first keyword and determines a program content including a character string matching the first keyword, as a related program; and display control means which controls a display device to display, as an operation menu with respect to the item, an access choice of indicating access to a link destination set to the item together with a reproduction choice of indicating reproduction of the related program from an appearance time when the character string matching the first keyword of the item appears in the related program.
