PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a light absorption layer from peeling and to provide a photoelectric conversion device with excellent reliability.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a photoelectric conversion device having a light absorption layer comprises: a first step of preparing a first material having a metallic oxide including a group I-B element and a group III-B element; a second step of forming a precursor layer of the light absorption layer by applying a solution prepared by dissolving a second material having a metallic salt including the same element as the group I-B element or the group III-B element and the first material in the solvent in which the metallic salt dissolves to a substrate 1; and a third step of reducing the metallic oxide by heat-treating the precursor layer.
