Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent display device that has higher luminous efficacy and high manufacturing yield.SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent display device includes: a lower electrode; an organic layer including a luminous layer provided on the lower electrode; an upper electrode provided on the organic layer; and an isolation layer that is adjacent to the lower electrode and does not coat a surface of the lower electrode. A surface of the isolation layer of the organic electroluminescent display device is substantially flush with the surface of the lower electrode, and the isolation layer is in contact with the upper electrode.
