Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for producing polyurethane foams and foamed thermoplastic synthetic resins, especially polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and PET.SOLUTION: A blowing agent comprises pentafluorobutane, preferably pentafluorobutane (HFC-365mfc) and at least one additional blowing agent selected from the group comprising: difluoromethane (HFC-32); difluoroethane, preferably 1,1-difluoroethane (HFC-152a); 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134); 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a); hexafluoropropane, preferably 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropane (HFC-236fa) or 1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoropropane (HFC-236ea); heptafluoropropane, preferably 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea); low-boiling, optionally halogenated hydrocarbons; and low-boiling, optionally halogenated ethers, or the blowing agent comprises a composition comprising the blowing agents.
