Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating system utilizing the reaction heat of aluminum and water.SOLUTION: The heating system has a reaction vessel 10, a heat exchanger 34, an aluminum addition device 50, a water addition device 60, and a controller 70, wherein the controller 70 operates the aluminum addition device 50 and the water addition device 60 based on data of temperature and water amount detected by a temperature detection means 20 and a water amount detector 22 in the reaction vessel 10 to react aluminum and water or an organic solvent-mixed water in the reaction vessel 10 to generate hydrogen, or controls the reaction. Heat of a heat exchange medium heated by the temperature rise in hydrogen generation in the reaction vessel 10 is exchanged to warm air by the heat exchanger, and the reaction heat can thus be utilized as a heat source.
