Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium supply apparatus that can reduce the burden on a user.SOLUTION: The recording medium supply apparatus includes: a conveyance unit provided in a conveyance path of a recording medium that is manually supplied, and having a drive roller and a driven roller that nips the recording medium to convey it in a predetermined conveyance direction; a detection unit that detects a conveyance state of the recording medium conveyed downstream in the conveyance direction of the conveyance unit; and a control unit that causes the conveyance unit to convey the recording medium to the detection unit, and drives the drive roller by a first drive amount when the detection unit detects a favorable result and drives the drive roller by a second drive amount different from the first drive amount when the detection result is unfavorable.
