ROTARY TILLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tiller dispensing with plate attaching/detaching work when carrying out ridging work and leveling work.SOLUTION: The rotary tiller includes a flexible plate 18 with its upper end connected to the rear end of a cover 11 of the rotary tiller; a regulating member 15 that can be switched into a regulating state of contacting the lateral center part of a lower side part of the plate 18 to restrain the lateral center part from moving behind the cover 11, and into a release state of permitting the lateral center part to move behind the cover 11; and a hard ground leveling plate 20 for leveling the tilled ground. The ground leveling plate 20 is arranged behind the plate 18, and the plate 18 and the ground leveling plate 20 are vertically swingable with the rear end portion of the cover 11 as a fulcrum. A means 24 is provided for holding the ground leveling plate 20 in an attitude separated backward or upward from the plate 18.
