PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 includes: a storing section 6 for storing an application program associated beforehand with first classification information and first specific information; a search command broadcasting section 2 for broadcasting a search command when the information processing apparatus 1 operating according to a procedure of the application program uses wireless communication of a standardized near field communication scheme; a device information reception section 3 for receiving second classification information and second specific information in association with address information from opposite devices responsive to the broadcast search command; a buffer section 5 for storing the received second classification information and second specific information in association with the address information; and an opposite device specification section 4 for specifying second classification information and second specific information stored in the buffer section 5 which correspond to the first classification information and first specific information, and specifying the opposite device by the address information associated with the specified second classification information and second specific information.
