PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for adapting to image processing of MFPs in different models with low speed to high speed using a DSP in which effective utilization of a hardware resource and reduction in time required for processing such as setting of an image processing parameter are realized.SOLUTION: When performing parallel processing in each color version of CMYK in frame processing of image data processors 104-2, 3 of DSP, multiple frames are allocated to each color version, and setting of image processing parameters to the usable multiple frames are preliminary set with variations prepared in advance. Among the variations, a frame in which setting processing responding to an processing instruction given by a user can be performed with a smallest reset processing amount is specified as an execution frame, and reset processing to the frame is performed only for an image processing parameter which needs a change. Thereby, especially in a high-speed machine having the multiple image data processors 104-2, 3, an unused frame is used, and processing of recalculation of an image processing parameter and reset to the image data processors is minimized so as to effectively use a hardware resource.
