LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device and a lighting system which effectively use light absorbed in a wiring board and a reflection member and has high luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes a wiring board 1 in which a light emitting element 2 is mounted on an upper surface, a reflection member 4 provided on the upper surface of the wiring board 1 so as to enclose the light emitting element 2, and a wavelength conversion member 3 covering the light emitting element 2 and arranged on the inner side of the reflection member 4 to perform wavelength conversion on light from the light emitting element 2 to form yellow light. At least one of the wiring board 1 and the reflection member 4 is formed by a fluorescent alumina ceramic. The alumina ceramic contains at least one of europium, cerium, terbium, and neodymium as an activator.
