OPTICAL ELEMENT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element and a method of producing the same, which improves the adhesion between metal patterns of nano order arranged on a resin layer and the resin layer.SOLUTION: The optical element comprises a resin layer having light transmissivity and elasticity, and a plurality of metal patterns arranged on the resin layer. The metal patterns are constituted by laminating a first metal layer arranged on the resin layer and a second metal layer arranged on the first metal layer. A spacing between the adjacent second metal layers is equal to or less than 1000 nm and the spacing between the adjacent second metal layers varies by deforming the resin layer.
