Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of alteration of a welding part, thermal degradation, thermal distortion and thermal stress, to eliminate welding defects, and to increase the rigidity of a plate polymer when manufacturing a shell-and-plate type heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A COliquefaction device (shell-and-plate type heat exchanger) 10 includes a hollow container 12 and a plate polymer 14 housed inside the hollow container 12. The plate polymer 14 includes many plates 16 for which paths of NHand COare formed on the front/back surfaces. An annular flat planar body configuring a plate outer peripheral edge 16a has a tapered surface 46, and an annular flat planar body configuring plate inner peripheral edges 22a, 24a forming holes 22, 24 has a tapered surface 48. The taper angle of the tapered surface 46 is 1.5 to 2.0 degrees and the taper angle of the tapered surface 48 is 0.1 to 1.0 degree. Thus, the inverse warp 52 of the planar body is eliminated, as well as welding defects, so that the rigidity of the plate polymer 14 is increased.
