PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape roll capable of preventing an adhesive forming an adhesive layer from adhering to the inside of a reel to improve yield in production and supply of an adhesive film (tape) such as an anisotropically conductive film as a tape roll formed by winding on the reel, a film material on which the adhesive layer is formed by coating while cutting in a narrow width, and capable of securing operational stability when winding off the adhesive tape to use.SOLUTION: The tape roll includes a columnar wind-up part 3 and a pair of side plates 2, 2 arranged parallel to each other with the wind-up part 3 sandwiched therebetween. The projections 21 extending in a radial direction are provided on the inner surfaces of the side plates 2, 2, and the peripheral projections 22 are provided on the inner surfaces along the peripheral parts of the side plates 2, 2. The cross sections of the projections 21 and 22 are made to be circular arc, rectangular or the shapes of chamfering the corner parts of rectangle. The distances between the facing projections 21, 21 and between the peripheral projections 22, 22 are made to be longer than the cutting width of the adhesive tape 5.
