MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR WIRE HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably mount a harness protector to a reinforcement having a circular cross section while saving a space.SOLUTION: The protector 3 to which a wire harness 2 is inserted is arranged on the upper side of the horizontal reinforcement 1 having a circular cross section on a vehicle body side along the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement 1. A curved recess 7 formed at a bottom of the protector 3 is engaged with a curved upper face of the reinforcement 1, and lock clamps 4 protruded at the bottom are engaged with holes 5 of the reinforcement 1. Notches 31 communicated with the curved recess 7 and brackets 23 positioned on the upper side of the notches 31 are provided on a lateral wall 21 of the protector 3. A receiving bracket 14 of the reinforcement 1 is engaged with the notch 31, and the bracket 23 is fixed to the receiving bracket 14 by screwing. A bottom face of an earth terminal 27 of the wire harness 2 is exposed on a bottom face of the bracket 23. Simultaneously with the fixation by screwing, the bottom face of the earth terminal 27 is brought into contact with the electrically-conductive receiving bracket 14.
