Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a highly efficient and inexpensive solar cell by employing a rational process while reducing the usage of silicon by making the solar cell thinner.SOLUTION: An SiOfilm and an SiNfilm are formed on both surfaces of a silicon solar cell having an n-p-pstructure created by phosphorus diffusion and boron diffusion. A thin Al electrode having a grid electrode on the light receiving surface and many small openings on the rear surface is then formed over the substantially entire surface, thus forming a player which becomes a strong back surface field (BSF) layer in the Al electrode.
