MAGNETRON AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetron which conducts highly effective harmonic suppression at low cost.SOLUTION: A magnetron includes: a cylindrical metal sealing body 31 joined to an anode cylinder 11 and placing a choke 32 on an inner wall; an insulation cylinder 33 joined to the metal sealing body 31; an exhaust metal pipe 34 joined to the insulation cylinder 33; and an output part 30 having an antenna lead 35, which passes through the interior of the metal sealing body 31 and the insulation cylinder 33 and is connected to the exhaust metal pipe 34. In the magnetron, the choke 32 is made of a metal circular body and is press-fitted into the inner wall of the metal sealing body 31. A plating film 36 covers the metal sealing body wall into which the choke 32 is press-fitted and a surface of the metal circular body.
