Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that extracts an image of a moving body in a direction of travel from a picked-up image and displays the image with a simple configuration, and a navigation device.SOLUTION: An image display device of the present invention includes: image pickup means that is provided on a moving body and picks up images including an image of the moving body in a direction of travel; reference position specifying means that specifies a reference position that indicates the direction of travel in the picked-up image; image extracting means that extracts an image in a predetermined range with the reference position as a reference; and image display means that displays the extracted image.
