Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diethyl zinc composition of excellent heat stability that improves the heat stability of diethyl zinc used in applications such as a polymerization catalyst, an organic synthesis reagent, and a raw material for producing a thin film of zinc oxide according to a MOCVD method or the like, and does not allow metallic zinc particles to precipitate subsequent to a long handling period.SOLUTION: The diethyl zinc composition comprises diethyl zinc and a compound having an azulene structure added therein as an additive.
