Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enabling a user check whether a getting off area from a vehicle after opening a vehicle door exists between a vehicle and an adjacent parking vehicle.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus draws a locus of a door fitted onto a vehicle when the door with which the vehicle is equipped is opened and closed on a vehicle image contained in a composite image showing states of the vehicle and the periphery thereof when viewed from a virtual viewpoint, generated based on a photographed image obtained by photographing the periphery of the vehicle with a plurality of cameras, and outputs the composite image with the drawn locus to a display device for display. Accordingly, the user can check the vehicle door locus drawn on the composite image displayed on the display and also check whether an egress area of the user from the vehicle after opening the door exists between the vehicle and an adjacent parking vehicle.
