LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly compensate the discharge timing of a first liquid without adding a sensor.SOLUTION: A paper sensor 11, a pre-coating head 2 which discharges a pre-coating liquid, a smoothing roller 9, and an inkjet head 1 which discharges ink droplets are arranged in order from the upstream side in the carrying direction of sheets of paper P. In an arrival time storage section, an arrival period of time required for the arrival of the tip of the sheet of paper P which is carried by a specified carrying speed to the inkjet head 1 from the paper sensor 11 when an adhesion amount is 0 (zero) is stored. In a delay time storage section, a relationship of the adhesion amount and a delay period of time is stored. A delay time determining section determines the adhesion amount which is an amount of the pre-coating liquid adhered to the smoothing roller 9 through the sheet of paper P. A head control section controls the discharge timing of ink droplets from the inkjet head 1 conforming to a total period of time for which the delay period of time corresponding to the adhesion amount and a standard period of time are added.
