PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus or the like capable of generating data processable by a device without depending upon a type of the device and function extension.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus, connected with a device, for generating data processable by the device based on device information of the device. The information processing apparatus has: processing content setting means 721 for setting contents of processing to be executed by the device on the basis of the device information; command acquiring means 742 for acquiring a command corresponding to unknown information from the device information in the case where the unknown information is contained in the processing contents set by the processing content setting means 721; and data generating means 743 for generating data processable by the device on the basis of the command acquired by the command acquiring means and the processing contents.
