FLOOR MEMBER INSTALLATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the surfaces of installed floor members to be flush with a predetermined plane.SOLUTION: The method includes: placing a substrate member 21 by pouring a self-leveling slurry composition on a floor surface 31 and drying it; placing plural sheets of corner cushion members and of side cushion members 23 on a surface of the substrate member 21, both cushion members constituted by polyethylene resin foam having 15% expansion ratio comprising discrete foam cells; placing ceramic tiles on the surface of the substrate member 21, with the back surface of the ceramic tiles facing downward, the ceramic tiles that each has an adhesive disc 2 made up of a steel sheet coated with a hot-melt adhesive; overlaying a positioning plate having a hole 12 on the ceramic tile, with sides of them matching each other; inserting, into the hole 12, an induction heating coil portion of a portable high-frequency electromagnetic induction heater; and irradiating high-frequency waves from the portable high-frequency electromagnetic induction heater, with the induction heating coil portion pressed on the surface of a ceramic tile body 1 to melt the hot-melt adhesive, thereby fixing the ceramic tile onto the surface of the substrate member 21.
