SAFETY DEVICE OF HYDRAULIC WORK MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a hydraulic work machine capable of checking and maintaining the items which should be checked and maintained during the operation of an operational part such as an engine.SOLUTION: The safety device of the hydraulic work machine comprises: a door switch 32 for detecting the opening of a maintenance door of a machine room; temperature sensors 41 and 59 for detecting the temperature of hydraulic fluid and that of engine cooling water respectively; and a rotation sensor 42 for detecting the working state of a hydraulic power unit including an engine 10. A controller 40 for determining whether or not high temperature parts and a rotating part are present by the detection signal from the temperature sensors 41 and 59 and the rotation sensor 42. During the operation of the door switch 32, by the output signal from a main controller 40 which displays the presence of the high temperature parts and/or a rotating part, a maintenance light 33 provided in the machine room 7 is flickered and/or an audible alarm 34 provided therein is sounded.
