Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newly improved liquid discharging apparatus that can quickly seal nozzles by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The liquid discharging apparatus includes: a liquid discharging head that has a nozzle surface having nozzles for discharging liquid; a support member that is provided in a position where it faces the nozzle surface and supports a medium on which the liquid discharged from the nozzles is landed; a frame that is movable along the side surface of the support member in a state that it surrounds the side surface of the support member: and a sealing member that is supported by the frame and seals the nozzles when coming into contact with the nozzle surface accompanied by the movement of the frame.
