ILLUMINATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a lighting apparatus operate in an energy saving way without making a user feel burdened or unpleasant.SOLUTION: An illumination system comprises in each of a first room and a second room, a lighting apparatus, a brightness sensor, a user interface, storage means, a human sensor, control means, and communication means for performing information communication between the first room and the second room, and further comprises a passage sensor for detecting human movement between the first room and the second room. The control means controls in such a way as to turn on the lighting apparatus in a room at the same brightness as in another room if human movement from the other room to the room is detected after the room being empty and there being a person in the other room, with the use of information of the human sensor and the passage sensor, and operation for turning on the lighting apparatus is performed in the room.
