Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for hot press which can obtain a strength of ≥1,000 MPa after high temperature forming, and also has excellent delayed fracture resistance and collision safety, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The steel sheet for hot press has a composition which comprises 0.1 to 0.5% C, 0.05 to 2% Si, 0.1 to 3% Mn and 0.003 to 2% Al, and in which the content of P is limited to ≤0.05%, the content of S is limited to ≤0.03% and the content of N is limited to ≤0.01%, and which satisfies formula (1) Si+Al≥1.0% and formula (2): 50≥Vc≥25; wherein Vc=10^(3.69-0.75 ) [°C/s]; and =2.7C+0.4Si+Mn.
