Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufacturable steering device capable of reducing a hitching feeling caused when starting steering.SOLUTION: This steering device includes a rack bush 23 interposed between an end housing 27 (a rack housing 21) and a rack shaft 5 and slidably supporting the rack shaft 5. The rack bush 23 is movably arranged in the axial direction in the end housing 27. A housing side recessed part 35 is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the end housing 27, and a through-hole 47 is formed in the rack bush 23. An elastic member 31 is provided for engaging with both the housing side recessed part 35 and the through-hole 47.
