Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a cemented optical element by which deformation of the cemented optical element is suppressed.SOLUTION: The method is provided for manufacturing the cemented optical element by cementing an upper base material lens 91 with a lower base material lens 92 using an adhesive 95 containing a resin to form a joined lens 90. The method includes: a coating step of coating the adhesive 95 on the lower base material lens 92; a deforming step of making the upper base material lens 91 and the lower base material lens 92 face each other, and deforming the upper base material lens 91 and the lower base material lens 92 in such a way that their central parts depart from each other more than the distance in a state without an external force; an approach step of making the upper base material lens 91 and the lower base material lens 92 approach each other while keeping the deformation in the previous step; and a curing step of curing the adhesive 95 in the mutually approaching state of the upper base material lens 91 and the lower base material lens 92.
