Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a charging environment capable of preventing and suppressing a plug of a power transmission cable from being removed from a charger port or a power output port during charging with an electric vehicle at a low cost, in many parking lots.SOLUTION: A power feeding cable device 1 for a vehicle relating to the present invention includes a power transmission cable 33 provided to a primary side plug 31 and a secondary side plug 32, a living body information input section 42 and an operation unit 43 for inputting user information, a connection control circuit 45, and a lock mechanism 50. The initial state of the lock mechanism 50 is a locked state. The connection control circuit 45, upon succeeding in authentication by collation between the input information and registered information, outputs an operation signal for transiting the lock mechanism 50 to a unlocked state. If a change in connection state of the power transmission cable 33 occurs without passing through the output of the operation signal, an alert signal is outputted to an electric vehicle 9. The output signal of the connection control circuit 45 is generated based on the electric power available through an energy storage element 411 from an electric power output port 13.
