COMMUNICATION METHOD, SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DEVICE FOR COMMUNICATION, AND WIRELESS LAN DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress transmission power of data to be transmitted to a necessary minimum.SOLUTION: In a communication method by an infrastructure mode between an access point (AP) and a station (STA), the station transmits the data amount of data to be transmitted to the access point. The access point compares the data amount received from the station with a prescribed data amount threshold, calculates the propagation loss of the received data, determines a transmission power value of the station, based on a comparison result between the received data amount and the prescribed data amount threshold, and the propagation loss of the received data, and transmits the transmission power value to the station. The station transmits the data to be transmitted to the access point with transmission power corresponding to the transmission power value which is transmitted from the access point. Thus, the transmission power in data transmission is suppressed to a necessary minimum.
