Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal power generation system with COremoving facilities which can improve thermal efficiency.SOLUTION: The thermal power generation system includes: a boiler 1 which generates steam; a turbine 14 which is rotated by the steam 17 generated in the boiler 1 to achieve the rotary drive of a generator; a condenser 15 which condenses the steam 17 sent from the turbine 14, to return a steam condensate 18; and the COremoving facilities which separate and recover carbon dioxide from exhaust gas 11 generated in the boiler 1. The COremoving facilities have: a COabsorption tower 20 which absorbs carbon dioxide from the exhaust gas 11; and a regeneration tower 40 which separates carbon dioxide from the COabsorption solution in which the carbon dioxide is absorbed. The amount of heat, recovered by cooling the exhaust gas 11 exhausted from the boiler 1, is used for heating the COabsorption solution which is sent from the COabsorption tower 20 to the regeneration tower 40. On the other hand, washing water, for recovering the absorption solution from a COremoval exhaust gas in which carbon dioxide is absorbed, is circulated in the COabsorption tower 20, and steam condensate from the condenser 15 is used as a refrigerant for cooling the washing water.
