JOINT FOR REPAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for repair, which hardly causes a step portion in a pipe bottom and in which the flow of drain is hardly inhibited.SOLUTION: The joint for repair 1 made of a synthetic resin is arranged between a downstream pipe line 2 in the downstream side of a fractured portion of a drain pipe line and an upstream pipe line 4 in the upstream side of the fractured portion. The joint for repair 1 includes a downstream connecting member 6 connectable to the downstream pipe line 2, an upstream connecting member 7 connectable to the upstream pipe line 4, and a crossover member 8 connected to the downstream connecting member 6 and to the upstream connecting member 7. A packing 12 with uneven thickness having a thickness varying along a circumference direction is fitted to one end of the downstream connecting member 6, and the downstream connecting member 6 is inserted and fitted via the packing 12 with uneven thickness into the socket 3 of the downstream pipe line 2. A packing 18 with uneven thickness having a thickness varying along a circumference direction is fitted to one end of the upstream connecting member 7, and the upstream connecting member 7 is externally fitted via the packing 18 with uneven thickness to a spigot 5 of the upstream pipe line 4.
