IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of acquiring an image where subject shakes are small and depth of field is deep with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An image processing device of the present invention comprises: input means to input a first moving image, and a second moving image acquired by photographing the same photographic subject of said first image with the depth of field deeper than said first moving image; detection means to detect, as a focal region of the frame, a region where a sharpness in said first moving image is higher than a sharpness in said second moving image by comparing, with each other, frames to which said first moving image and said second moving image corresponds; and image processing means which performs the processing which emphasizes a high frequency component of the focal region for each frame of said first moving image, and performs the processing which emphasizes a high frequency component of a region other than a focal region for each frame of said second moving image, and outputs alternately the frame of said first moving image and the frame of said second moving image.
